Hello Demigods,
The first month end update of 2022! I'm tweaking how information is presented in these updates (nothing major, just rearranging and including links where possible), so bear with me as I fine-tune over the next few months.
Looking at our projected delivery dates from back when the campaign ran on Kickstarter, we had the PDF projected as going out to backers in May 2022, which isn't too far off. With the book in layout, I'm hoping we'll see it move to Proofing in February and really hoping that we'll get the PDF delivered earlier than initially projected, despite all of the hurdles that Covid and the pandemic have thrown at the Onyx Path crew.

Rich has modified the way he's running the Project Tracking this year. At the end of each month, Onyx Path will be posting an update showing the current status of all of their projects and where each sits on the project tracking chart. In the weekly Monday Meeting Notes blogs, Rich will note any projects that have changed status, sometimes with developer notes, since the big monthly summary.
Keep checking the Monday updates and especially the month end summary when they post all projects. As noted, I'm hopeful we'll see the status change on our book to Proofing before too much longer and we'll know it won't be long at that point.

2021 Year End Update

Hello Heroes & Good Day Demigods,
It's been about 14 months since we finished our campaign and work began to transform the preview manuscript we saw into a finalized book. Unfortunately, those 14 months were within 2020-2021, which means that it translates to about 5 productive months but feels like about 40. What a year this has been.
Ah, the final days of 2021. Can't say I'm sad to see this year ending, though there were some positive moments within the ongoing struggle. Let's not dwell too much, though, and instead do a quick summary of where we stand and what's left to accomplish in 2022 and then a fast review of some of the successes of 2021.

ONYX PATH CROWDFUNDING IN 2021
Another challenging year. While there were some moments of taking two steps forward and one step back, at least there was some forward momentum. Onyx Path spent the previous year restructuring and adapting their processes to better function during the pandemic, but still external issues presented (and continue to present) challenges. Paper shortages, manufacturing difficulties, shipping and storage problems. The new normal.
Despite all of that, Onyx Path was able to get some products out, at least digitally, during the year.
While the massive paper shortage and manufacturing issues kept many of these from seeing print in 2021, they're all currently scheduled to attain physical form in early 2022. Here's hoping the process keeps moving forward and we can finally ship these rewards. Even with that caveat, that's still a pretty impressive list of stuff that's out and available to play.
Another solid year and another batch of fun and interesting projects added to Onyx Path's future release list. In supporting these during the crowdfunding phase, we've also managed to add these extra projects to the schedule:

We're a few days away from Halloween, so time for our regular month end update! Before I review where we stand in the Scion world, I wanna share this in case anyone was thinking of playing some fun and spooky Storypath system games in keeping with the mood of the weekend!
Abbeyham Priory is a gothic abbey of crumbling walls and dreadful history. Its inhabitants are terrible, its purpose is malign, and those intrepid adventurers who poke around in its ruined masonry may well unleash something utterly horrid on the world beyond.
You are the intrepid adventurers! And you are the only people who can contain the Haunting of Abbeyham Priory!
They Came from Beyond the Grave! is a dramatic, hammy, and horrifying tabletop roleplaying game of 1970s horror set across the 19th century and ‘70s era. This jumpstart provides you with all the tools you need to start a story of They Came from Beyond the Grave!, and tell many stories to follow.
They Came from Beyond the Grave! uses the Storypath System, provided in the pages of this book!

Our Scion: Demigod rulebook is now in the Layout phase of production! There's still plenty of work to do - a few months of artwork and layout stuff, some additional graphic design stuff, and rounds of proofing - but we're getting closer and closer to distribution of our primary reward for this campaign. I don't think it'll quite arrive in the final few months of 2021, but wouldn't be surprised to see it on our screens in the very early days of 2022. Fingers crossed!

Hello Heroes and Good Day Demigods,
Sliding to the end of September, and time for another of our month end check in updates.
It's not a coincidence that the update is coming out today... because there's also a fun Scion Second Edition project available today! Part of Onyx Path's monthly Tasty Bits program adding small rules and setting supplements to their various Storypath system games.
Automobiles are entrenched in The World’s culture, and they’ve changed travel forever. The Gods are not immune to the changing culture, and many Scions have incorporated it into their legends, pushing themselves to interact creatively with vehicles. The Scions of Hephaestus had a particular attraction to vehicles, often modifying them beyond the human capability for speed or maneuverability.
These and other interested Scions often come together for competitions and test racing or craftmanship. Car culture is so popular with certain Scions that they developed a game based on them. The game is sometimes called “The Autocracy,” which a few Scions think is a hilarious pun, while others consider the joke to be in poor taste. Most just call it “the competition.”
The competition consists of multiple ways for Scions to play with vehicles when they are together and an opportunity to tell legendary tales of their feats. Powerlift a car in the middle of a battle and use it like a baseball bat? Throw a truck a mile to take out an enemy running away? Did you trick out a motorcycle to make it a Relic? How are those driving skills?
All of these are ways in which Scions try to outdo each other. Some prefer the heat of battle for their moment of glory, some choose to express themselves through nuanced storytelling in their cars’ design, others weave tales of impressive feats or clever uses of vehicles, and still others hone their skills of repairing or modifying the internal machines and external bodywork. Creativity, originality, and innovation are the central ideas of the competition.

Harano is the state in which a werewolf finds themselves, when they succumb to despair.
