Order Lockdown Schedule - In Anticipation of August Shipping

Good Day Demigods,
I've been waiting on this post for a bit, just waiting to have a confirmed "submitted to printer" note from the Onyx Path team. I know that a cascade of printing and manufacturing issues have thrown schedules off, and Onyx Path is now working with their printer within strict scheduling windows. But, it looks like Demigod is (hopefully) going to print within the next few months.
So, in anticipation of the hardcover book shipping in August or early September, let's lockdown our final orders (so I can provide final order quantities to the team), process any outstanding BackerKit payments (so all Add Ons or upgrades are covered) and confirm shipping information for hardcover recipients.
Phew, that's a lot to take in. Let me see if I can break it down.

Confirm Rewards / Confirm Orders - June24, 2022
I'll begin locking down all orders on June24, 2022. This means that, once they're locked down, you won't be able to shift your pledge tier or add any additional Add On options. These will firm up the counts for our distribution partners so they can figure out deliveries.
On June24, I will send out a 48 HOUR NOTICE with a link for you to double check your pledge and items to ensure they're set up the way you want.
Process Outstanding Payments - July 8, 2022
For any additions you made in BackerKit, pre-orders, or any payments that did not process at the end of the Kickstarter campaign, please ensure your payment information is up to date, valid, and ready to be processed by July8, 2022. On that date, I will instruct BackerKit to lock down and process all outstanding payments.
Confirm Delivery Information - July 22, 2022
Please ensure your shipping information is up-to-date with your expected address for August/September 2022. Please ensure that this information is entered and correct by July22. After this point, I will take the shipping information we have for you in BackerKit and provide that to our fulfillment partners, so they can schedule the picking and packing of orders, with plans to begin shipping hopefully not long thereafter.
On July22, I will send out a 48 HOUR NOTICE with the delivery information we have in the system and a link in case you need to update or modify. After those 48 hours, the delivery information will be considered confirmed and locked in our system.
BRAZILIAN BACKERS
To all our backers in Brazil, please include your CPF number alongside your name in your shipping information. As you know, it's expensive to ship to Brazil from the US, and any missing information will cause the shipment to be rejected or possibly destroyed at the border, so let's avoid any possible issues in this shipping process.
I'll double-check these as best I can, but if you're ahead of me, that helps out immensely
IF YOUR ADDRESS IS CHANGING IN THE SUMMER
If your shipping location will be changing during the August/September timeframe, please contact me at Onyx.Kickstarter [at] gmail.com. I will unlock your order and we'll hold off processing it until you're at your new location. If you have your new address and the effective date, let me know that too and I'll set it up. If you haven't confirmed your location yet, let me know that as well and I'll hold off the shipment until you're all sorted.

I don't have to say too much here, do I? I'm moving forward with a lot of assumptions that things will work out as planned, but we've learned that unexpected complications are lurking around every corner. I'll keep in touch with Onyx Path as best possible and we can adjust these dates as/if needed.
For now, just review your BackerKit order list and ensure that it's got everything you want. I'll send out the 48 Hour Notices as mentioned. Also, I'm here to help. If there are any issues, get in touch and I'll sort everything as best I can.
Since this may be a tight printing window, there could be a few projects all happening around the same time, so there will be lots of moving parts and potential issues. I don't know exactly how long it'll take to ship things out, but I'll work with our fulfillment partners to get everything out as quickly as manageable. The delivery side of this may be an ongoing project, but we'll get there! Don't worry - we'll have lots of opportunities to make sure we're set up for success as long as the external factors all cooperate.

Good day Demigods!
Last month's update saw the distribution of the Scion: Demigod backer PDF. This month, we're not gonna come close to anything as exciting, so let's cover a few pieces of regular business as the team continues to take our errata, corrections, and comments from the Feedback Form into account as they finalize Scion: Demigod for PDF release and printing.
REWARDS STILL PENDING

So, as noted, our Scion: Demigod book is in Indexing and prep for PDF release and printing. The Companion is finishing up in first draft, while the scenario book has moved along to the final draft phase, where the writers are all done their main work and the book moves to the development team to carry forward.
Once we have a confirmed printing window, I'll send out some info on our lockdown schedule for orders and when to confirm shipping information. For now, if you want to review your BackerKit page and get ahead of schedule that's not a bad idea, but we'll revisit everything and double-confirm all of the bits before any final steps are taken.

Check out the Scion Second Edition game running on Friday June 10 at 9:30 PM... and I'm not sure what the Scion: Godsend item is on the schedule for Sunday at 3:00 PM, but you can be sure it's got my interest!
There are also come great panels to check out, all of which will be hosted on the Onyx Path Twitch channel.
Aside from the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, the Scion panel at 8:30 on Friday (just before the game streams!), the Storypath Q&A and What's Up with Onyx Path panels on Saturday should be good viewing!

If you're like me, you wait eagerly each Monday for Rich to post his Monday Meeting Notes blog on the Onyx Path website to see what excitement the week may bring. I especially look forward to it because that's when I find out about kickstarter rewards that are just about ready to go out... like, for instance, our Scion: Demigod backer PDF.
That's a convoluted way of leading up to the excitement of the month: Our backer PDFs are ready for distribution!
SCION: DEMIGOD Backer PDF

Your link to claim your Scion: Demigod Backer PDF will be sent out by our BackerKit pledge manager over the next day. Since we are using our partners at DriveThruRPG as the host for this, you will need to set up a DriveThru account if you don't have one already. The easiest way to see if you've got digital downloads available is to login to your backerkit account: https://scion-demigod-rpg.backerkit.com/backer/digital_rewards and it'll show anything available. Your backerkit account should also confirm all rewards that you should expect from your reward tier selected.
This is the first version of Scion: Demigod Second Edition to be released. The design and development teams have done their best to proofread and correct any errors and typos - but some always sneak through. If you catch any typos, incorrect math, visual glitches, and the like, we want to hear about them and correct them before we send the book off to print.
With that in mind, I'd like to introduce the Scion: DemigodFeedback Form!
You probably don't need to tell them that the form may be mislabeled - they know it's for Scion: Demigod errata collection. They are also aware of the Page XX notations - those are left in to replace for the final version once any changes you've suggested are made, so they can reference the correct page if any shifts in layout result.
Generally, they try to keep errata collection open for the next 2 weeks. Please submit your feedback as soon as possible so the team can get on to finalizing this file ... and working on our print version as well!
They won't be collecting errata from other spots, just this specific form.
After any needed corrections are made (based on your feedback!), we will prepare an updated final PDF version of the book and you will receive a notice from DrivethruRPG that you can re-download your file with the latest version.
You've already made the book a reality with your Kickstarter support. Now you can make it even better by helping us crowdsource any minor errors and corrections.

Again, the team will be collecting errata and corrections based on your feedback. They'll use that to help finalize the book, get everything indexed, and then begin final preparation in anticipation of printing the backer hardcovers and releasing the PDF (and Print-on-Demand version) for general purchase. So, still some steps to go and some help from all of us needed, but we're getting there!
Also, our Stretch Goal books are now finishing up first drafts and starting their journey towards us.

March 2022 Update

Hey Demigods,
We're in the final days of March, and it's time for our regular month end update. I'll also make sure to get the title correct - we seemingly had two January updates! From now on, instead of February, I'll call that month January 2.0.
Anyway, enough silliness, let's get down to it.

So, ongoing tweaks to the pending list - I've collapsed the Scion: Demigod PDF and Scion: Demigod hardcover book into one line. It's essentially the same project, just distributed to backers at different points in the process. The good news - it's SO CLOSE. The team is on the second proofing stage for the PDF right now, just going through with a fine-tooth comb. Let's look at some new art in anticipation.
The Scion Scenario Trilogy PDF that we unlocked via Stretch Goal achievements has a new name - it's Path to Apotheosis. Dixie's added a note: We have a newer developer on this, and I am delighted to see what they and Hiromi bring to the table in terms of playing in The World of Scion: Demigod!
PS: Not part of our Kickstarter rewards list, but related to our universe, Scion 2E Book 4: God is finishing up it's final draft.

January 2022 Update

Hello Demigods,
We're in the final days of February, so it's time for our regular divine check in. I've been messing with a more visual summary of our pending rewards, so let's see how that shakes out in today's update.
REWARDS STILL PENDING
A bit of a cheat there, because I've listed both the PDF and Hardcover of our main reward, so just doubling up on the progress. The book hasn't *quite* moved to the proofing stage yet, but I think it's getting closer. Can't wait! In addition, the Outlines for two of our Stretch Goals - the Companion and the Scenario Trilogy - are being worked on now that Scion: Demigod is coming together.
Not included on the list but certainly not forgotten are the existing items that will ship with our rewards when they go out - the Origin and Hero hardcovers, Storyguide Screen, and dice that were included with limited pledge levels. No worries if you've pledged for those, they will be included in your shipments; I've just removed them from the tracking list so we can see what is really being worked on.
Eventually, we'll have full dots across the board. It's an ongoing process, but we'll get there.
